A San Antonio country musician who performs as Felix Truvere faces a charge of possessing child sexual abuse material after a police detective found at least 50 photos and videos in an iCloud account, according to an arrest affidavit.
Felix Roberto Juarez, 52, was arrested Oct. 23 at Cool Crest Miniature Golf & Metzger Biergarten on the Northwest Side, where he was scheduled to play that day. Jail records show he was booked Saturday.
The arrest grew out of an investigation that opened after Juarez was taken into custody in June on suspicion of trespassing at a former neighbor's property. Court information provided to KSAT states that case involved allegations he recorded a young woman through her bedroom window. The woman, in her 20s, is the daughter of Flo Reyes, Juarez's former neighbor.
Reyes said she holds multiple recordings that show a man at the bedroom window on different nights. "It's infuriating how comfortable he is up there," Reyes said while reviewing the footage. "How comfortable he is looking at my children." She said her daughter has been traumatized by the recordings, and she does not know how many times he entered the backyard.
An affidavit states a San Antonio police detective searched an iCloud account belonging to Juarez on Oct. 7 and found at least 50 photos and videos of child sexual abuse material. Juarez gave the detective his iCloud email address, and the detective identified the account as belonging to Juarez, who also uses the name Felix Truvere.
Cool Crest Miniature Golf & Metzger Biergarten posted a statement on social media saying Juarez was an independent performer rather than an employee and would no longer perform there. "We unequivocally condemn the alleged conduct, which is contrary to our values and the safe, family-friendly environment we strive to provide," the venue said.
Juarez's website, which appeared to have been taken down as of Monday, listed 20 scheduled performances through March 2027.
