The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday night at Lincoln Financial Field. The victory marked the fifth consecutive loss for the Eagles, a streak that stretches back to 2016. Dallas improved to 3-4 and remains in the hunt for the NFC East title, while Philadelphia dropped to 2-5.

Dak Prescott threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns for the Cowboys. Two of those scores went to CeeDee Lamb. Javonte Williams ran for a career-high 155 yards and a touchdown. Williams finished with 204 total yards on the ground, a mark not reached by a Dallas running back since Ezekiel Elliott in 2018. Brandon Aubrey added three field goals for Dallas, including a 55-yarder, a 27-yarder, and a 24-yarder.

The Eagles struggled offensively. Quarterback Tanner McKee started in place of Jalen Hurts, who is expected to miss the rest of the season due to blood clots in his lungs. McKee completed 23 of 35 passes for 211 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The Eagles did not score until the third quarter, when McKee hit rookie Makai Lemon for a 4-yard touchdown. That drive consumed nearly 10 minutes of game time and gave Philadelphia a 21-20 lead.

Dallas answered late in the third quarter. Prescott threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Lamb in the end zone corner. Prescott ran in the two-point conversion to extend the lead to 28-21. Williams sealed the win with a 2-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown intercepted McKee late in the fourth quarter to end the game.

Philadelphia running back Saquon Barkley returned to the lineup after missing more than two games with a hamstring injury. He finished with 62 yards on seven carries. Barkley had 37 yards on the opening Eagles drive, which resulted in an 8-yard touchdown run. He visited the sideline medical tent during the game for his hamstring and also spent time on the sideline for back treatment.

Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was inducted into the team's Hall of Fame during halftime. Lurie purchased the franchise in 1994. He was joined by Hall of Famers Brian Dawkins and Donovan McNabb on the field. Coach Nick Sirianni remained the primary spokesperson regarding Hurts' injury status.

The Cowboys will host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. The Eagles travel to Washington on Sunday night to face another struggling NFC East rival.
